The Vampire Diaries Season 5 Episode 9 "The Cell" Megashare The time has come to test just how pissed Stefan is at his brother and ex-girlfriend. With Damon missing, Elena goes to Stefan to ask for help. “We have to find Damon,” she implores Stefan. Will Stefan set aside his resentments to help a brother out? It’s hard to tell from the promo (though, Stefan doesn’t look overly distraught at the news), but from the synopsis it seems less than likely.
The Vampire Diaries Season 5 Episode 9 "The Cell" Megashare According to the description, “Stefan continues to offer Katherine his support while trying to mask his own pain.” Stefan shifts the conversation at to address Caroline's feelings of not being okay with Elena (Nina Dobrev) after killing Jesse (Kendrick Sampson) in Episode 8 "Dead Man on Campus." Caroline expresses her opinion that there could have been an alternative choice instead and brought the conversation back to Stefan facing his issue.
We already know all about how Damon became a vampire, and have seen bits and pieces of the Salvatore brothers’ shaky history throughout The Vampire Diaries five seasons, but it seems that there are still secrets that Damon has kept hidden till now. And with the hint that Elena will be learning more about her family, it seems that “The Cell” may have all our characters looking back at their pasts.
Caroline's approach requires Stefan to be back in the box that trapped and drowned him over and over again during the summer. Caroline wants Stefan to focus on the drowning incident and eventually face the traumatic event in his life where he almost died.
Seems like Damon should have gone a bit softer on the ebola. Though he may have had all of the control when he was torturing the truth out of the Augustine Society’s Dr. Wes in Season 5, Episode 8 (“Dead Man on Campus”), Dr. Wes is calling the shots now. In the promo, we see Dr. Wes preparing to experiment on a disoriented Damon. “I’m ready to take my work to the next level,” Dr. Wes tells him. Yikes!
Stefan continues to offer Katherine his support while trying to mask his own pain, until Caroline shows up with an unusual form of therapy. After trying to make amends with Caroline, Elena grows so concerned about Damon that she turns to Aaron (guest star Shaun Sipos) for help. Later, when Damon tells Elena about a terrible ordeal in his past that he has kept secret for decades, she shares the disturbing information she just learned about her own family. Finally, Aaron decides on a desperate course of action after a conversation with Dr. Wes (guest star Rick Cosnett).
